The Minister of State Nikos Pappas has called New Democracy to clarify its stance in relation to the contingency measures demanded by the IMF.

In his statement Mr. Pappas accused the main opposition party of banking on the country’s destabilization. He also claimed that the Greek economy was finding its balance and that surpluses are being achieved without wage and pension cuts.

The State Minister concluded his statement by questioning whether New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis intends to ignore Eurostat, just like his expelled his party secretary and youth party.
