The life and time of the Tsipras/Kammenos government are carrying on slowly – yet firmly and decisively! Within a year they have managed to anger many and disappoint even more.

The recent clashes between the police and farmers in the heart of the capital are unprecedented. It is hard to believe, but the present government is in an open conflict with all of the country’s productive classes. Public and private sector employees, doctors, lawyers, mechanics, teachers, pensioners, even the police are in constant turmoil.

It is a mystery how this government that won the trust of such a large section of the people managed to set them against it. The causes are obviously both political and personal. A first example is the departure of Panagiotis Lafazanis, which harmed SYRIZA on a political level. The departure of Zoi Konstantopoulou caused even greater harm, with her revelations about the government’s inner workings.

The “list” is endless, the conflicts and differences within the ranks of the Ministerial Council are well-known.

In relation to these observations, one may ask “what do you care?” or even claim that a provocation is attempted against SYRIZA.

Since Mr. Tsipras does not appear to be gullible, rather “Alexis is smart”, a reshuffling should be expected, just like his predecessors carried out.

Let us not forget that Andreas Papandreou “killed off” Menios Koutsogiorgas, Giorgos Arsenis, Dimitris Tsovolas and so many more. Kostas Karamanlis ousted Giorgos Alogoskoufis and Giorgos Voulgarakis. Giorgos Papandreou got rid of Yannis Ragousis. And the list carries on…

Note: For a government to change you don’t elections or a conspiracy. A cabinet reshuffle is enough.
