A small fire broke out on board the Apollon Hellas ferry boat, which is currently docked at N. Molos harbor in Drapetsona on Monday. Firefighters have managed to set the fire under control.
Early reported suggest that the fire broke out in the car parking area within the ferryboat during maintenance. All crew members were promptly evacuated from the ship, with no injuries reported.
Aside from Coast Guard officials, four Fire Brigade vehicles have been dispatched to tackle the fire, while two ambulances remain on site for precautionary purposes.
