The police announced that arrest of a 44-year-old man in Megalokampos, near Drama in the north of Greece, for illegal possession of antiquities and firearms.
Upon investigating the 44-year-old man’s home, the police discovered multiple ancient artifacts (such as coins and other jewelry), along with a shot gun, a hunting rifle, air guns, a bayonet and ammunition.
The ancient artifacts have been confiscated and handed over to the Drama Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classic Antiquities.
