Two more people have passed away as a result of complications related to the seasonal outbreak of the flu virus, raising the death toll to 56, since the start of the season.
According to the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO) 25 people are currently receiving medical treatment at intensive care units across Greece, while 123 people have received such treatment so far.
KEELPNO has recommended that vulnerable people, such as the elderly, children and those with a weakened immune system, take the necessary precautions.
