An officer from the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change has revealed that DEPA has reached an agreement with Russian energy giant Gazprom regarding the retroactive reduction of natural gas prices.

According to the Energy Ministry officer’s claims, the retroactive price reduction will affect all natural gas that was sold from June 2013 and onwards.

On Wednesday the Deputy Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change Asimakis Papageorgiou announced that a deal with Gazprom was immanent and it would be implemented immediately.
