The Greek and Italian Prime Ministers Antonis Samaras and Enrico Leta are scheduled to meet today at noon. The main topics of discussion are likely to be the developing financial and employment problems experienced in both countries.

On Saturday the Italian PM mentioned on his twitter account that the purpose of his trip is to “tell Greeks we want another Europe, with employment, culture ad hope. Athens is the symbol of a European Union which must change”.

In an interview with the Athens News Agency, Mr. Leta stressed that the main subjects to be discussed with Mr. Samaras will be the future of Europe and what can be done so it is not perceived as a “punisher”, but a source of hope.
