The GEK TERNA group has signed a strategic alliance with Qatar Petroleum International (QPI). The alliance involves investments in Greece and the greater South East Europe.
According to the deal, QPI will acquire 25% of the “ERON II” natural gas power plan for 58 million dollars. This is QPI’s first international investment in the energy sector and the first investment of a state Qatari firm in Greece.
