The new proposal submitted by the Greek government for the extension of the existing loan agreement has reportedly been rejected by the Germany.
According to the German Ministry of Finances the new proposal does not comply to what was agreed upon at Monday’s Eurogroup in Brussels.
Furthermore, the spokesman for the German Finance Minister noted that the Greek proposal was based on bridge funding and does not fulfill the program’s terms.
The German Ministry of Finances has issued an official comment.
