The spokesperson for main opposition party Vasilis Kikilias called Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to step down if he is unable to govern the country. Mr. Kikilias argued that there is no chance for an ecumenical government from the current Parliament, repeating his party’s call for early election.

Similarly, New Democracy’s VP Kostis Hatzidakis estimated that PM Tsipras will call elections if the negotiations on the second bailout review collapse.
