The Greek government has warned the European Union that a ‘plan B’ must be developed in relation to the refugee crisis, since Turkey is threatening to pull out of the existing agreement.

In an interview for German newspaper Bild, the Alternate Minister of Migration Policy Yannis Mouzalas argued that Athens is ‘extremely concerned’ over the prospect of the agreement falling apart.

Additionally, the Greek Minister called for greater determination from the other EU member-states in the implementation of decisions to accept refugees. Mr. Mouzalas stressed that the refugees must be redistributed equally among all EU member-states.
