Two SYRIZA MPs, Tasos Kourakis and Triantafyllos Mitafidis, faced an angry crowd when they visited the central market in Thessaloniki on Holy Thursday.
When shop owners and traders noticed them, they hurled abuse and urged them to “leave”, expressing their indignation over the coalition government’s measures, which have put further pressure on the market.
