Spyros Dokos ,a 16-year-old cycling champion for Panathinaikos, was tragically killed on Wednesday afternoon during training in Amfissa.
According to Panathinaikos the 16-year-old was killed in a collision with a parked truck. Although Dokos was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident, he was killed instantly. An investigation has been launched to determine what caused the tragedy.
The funeral of the 16-year-old cyclist will take place at his hometown of Amfissa on Thursday afternoon.
