The Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has arranged to meet with the heads of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), the Panhellenic Medical Association (PIS) and Assembly of Bar Associations in order to discuss the controversial pension system reform.

Prior to the meeting, the presidents underlined that many young people from their sectors are emigrating, with the Prime Minister responding that solutions must be found in order to support young scientist, as well as the lower and middle classes. PM Tsipras further explained that the usual practice of ‘across the board’ measures are a mistake.

The president of the nationwide medical association Michalis Vlastarakos explained that many young doctors are decided to seek their fortune abroad, since the domestic healthcare system has reached its limits.
