The seasonal flu virus outbreak is currently in its peak in Greece and claimed two more lives on Thursday, raising the death toll to 58 for this season.
According to the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO) 24 people are currently receiving medical treatment in intensive care units for flu virus symptoms. So far, 126 patients have received ICU treatment.
KEELPNO has urged people from vulnerable groups to seek out medical care and anti-viral treatment if they demonstrate flu virus symptoms.
