Andreas Loverdos, president of the Agreement for New Greece party, announced that his party is going to participate in the “Olive tree” coalition in the upcoming European elections.
Mr. Loverdos explained to his party members that the decision to participate in the coalition for the European elections does not mean that they are joining PASOK or the “58”, nor will it result in a diminished autonomy.
The announcement regarding participation in the “Olive tree” coalition also ended speculation that Mr. Loverdos was going to join DIMAR’s “third pole” coalition of center left parties.
