Two police officers who were serving at the Heraklion Police Operations Station have been suspending after fighting each other in the police headquarters. Both were taken to the hospital, one for fractured ribs, the other with cuts and bruises.
The incident took place late on Saturday afternoon, when the two police officers were on the same shift. It appears the two had an argument over an insignificant matter that quickly escalated, requiring the interference of their colleagues and a trip to the hospital.
The legal proceedings have been initiated and the Internal Affairs agency will begin an investigation in the matter.
