The General Secretariat of Public Revenue has announced that net tax revenue for June has increased significantly since last year and has exceeded the budget target. Additionally, the tax revenue has exceeded budget targets for the six-month period between January and June 2016.
Specifically, the General Secretariat showed that there was a 32.9% increase in net tax revenue since last year, which amounted to a total of 3.74 billion euros and is 1.33% above the budget goal. Overall, in the six-month period between January and June 2016, the revenue increased by 6.5% for a total of 20.93 billion euros, which is 3.72% above the budget target.
Finally, the General Secretariat of Public Revenue expressed it confidence that the positive revenue performance will continue in the coming months
