The President of the Independent Greeks and Minister of National Defense Panos Kammenos has upped the ante against the creditor demands, ahead of the discussion amongst political leaders scheduled for Friday afternoon in parliament.
Mr. Kammenos posted on his twitter account that “they think they are dealing with Samaras and Venizelos, they think they will find ‘collaborators’ to trample on the Public mandate. MAJOR MISTAKE…”.
Earlier on Thursday, the spokesperson for the junior coalition government partner Marina Chrysoveloni stressed that the creditor proposals are unacceptable and slammed the opposition parties, particularly The River, for “fantasizing about new memoranda”. She stressed that the government will negotiation until the end for a truly beneficial agreement.
