The Minister of Public Order Nikos Dendias announced that the battle against terrorism is constant, citing the “illusion” of having dealt with the phenomenon after the “17 November” group was apprehended.
Mr. Dendias was invited to speak at the Fire Brigade HQ where he presented the results of this year’s results. The Minister noted that “it must clear to all of us, especially to Greek society, in total, that the battle against terrorism is constant. There once was an illusion that we were over it after we dealt with ‘17 November’. That is proven not to be the case every day”.
The Minister explained that the solution to the terrorism problem is the “operational preparedness and primarily the commitment of Greek society against such a phenomenon and the universal rejection from all parties and social bodies”.
