The Prime Minister Antonis Samaras will meet the Minister of Growth Athanasios Tsaftaris and deputy minister Maximos Harakopoulos, as part of the regular meetings with the political leadership of ministries, in order to better coordinate the government plan.
The ministers will update the PM on a number of issues, the primary being the farmers’ actions and the progress in realizing the eleven measures that the government decided upon. These issues also affect the Ministries of Finances, Environment and Labor.
The Prime Minister will also ask to be updated on the growth potential of domestic agriculture, in light of the deal on the new European budget and the funds that were “secured” for Greek agriculture.
