PASOK to propose bill against racist violence

The president of PASOK Evangelos Venizelos presented his ideas for a bill that would deal with phenomena of racially-motivated violence.

Mr. Venizelos underlined that no financial crisis can justify violence and fascism and asked that all parties of Parliament to not “co-exist” with Golden Dawn. He also noted that the penal liability of MPs and EMPs has been increased.

The PASOK leader also stated that the European Council decision regarding Eleni Zaroulia was a “pedagogical lesson” for the Greek Parliament.
