The heads of Greece’s four systemic banks are in Frankfurt for talks with European Central bank officials ahead of the announcement of the results of critical stress tests.

The bank officials – from Piraeus Bank, Eurobank, the National Bank of Greece, and Eurobank – will be briefed in detail on the data from the stress tests and on possible capital requirements, so as to allot time to prepare a strategy and plan to cover prospective needs.

The official results of the stress tests are scheduled to be announced on 4 or 5 May.
