The discussion regarding a possible referendum in the upcoming constitutional review prompted government spokesperson Olga Gerovasili to clarify that the procedures outlined for the review will not be circumvented.
In a Wednesday morning appearance on Skai, Mrs. Gerovasili stressed that “nobody insinuated, nobody thought to circumvent the constitutional procedure to review the Constitution”, adding that “the political parties and the Greek people will be involved in the debate”.
Mrs. Gerovasili was quick to add that it has not yet been determined how the Greek people will be involved in the process and noted that “I did not open this discussion, I merely did not close it”.
