The Super League board of directors announced that it will convene on Monday, in order to discuss suitable dates for the much-debated Greek Football Cup final.

Initially the board meeting had been arranged for Friday, however the postponement means that the Super League play offs will continue as planned over the weekend. AEK FC, which is participating in the play offs, reportedly rejected the possibility of playing its play off match against Panionios on Saturday rather than Sunday, so that the cup final may take place on Tuesday.

Objections regarding any changes to the play off schedule were raised by Panathinaikos FC, with the team calling Super League to file a complaint against the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO), as well the subscription television network Nova, which has broadcasting rights.
