According to the data published by the Bank of Greece, the cash deficit of the central government shrunk to 1.416 billion euros during the seven-month period between January and July 2015. During the same seven-month period in 2014 the cash deficit was 1.721 billion euros.

Meanwhile, the ordinary budget revenue also increased to 23.805 billion euros, up from 27.033 billion euros in 2014. This does not include 55 million euros from the transfer of Greek government bond yields that were transferred from the Bank of Greece.

Additionally, the Bank of Greece’s divs indicate that the ordinary budget expenses amounted to 25.712 billion euros, from 28.768 billion euros in the January-to-July seven-month period of 2014.
