The National Observatory’s Institute of Geodynamics documented an earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale in the early hours of Monday morning, with an epicenter about 11 kilometers south southwest of Aegio.
The earthquake was felt across Achaia, Korinthia, Aetoloakarnania and Arcadia in the Peloponnese. According to a seismologist at the Institute of Geodynamics, the tremor was felt across so many areas because it was a deep-focus earthquake.
According to the Fire Brigade no damages were reported in relation to the earthquake.
