The General Accounting Office has published its latest divs regarding the execution of the budget in the first five months of 2015 and found that the primary surplus amounted to 1.506 billion euros, from 708 million euros in the same period in 2014.

Furthermore, the ordinary budget net revenue came to 17.048 billion euros, about 1 billion euros sort of its initial 18.012-billion-euro estimate, while the public investment budget net revenues came to 1.577 billion euros, exceeding the 1.160 billion euro estimate.

Additionally, State budget expenditure during the five-month period from January to May 2015 came to 20.025 billion euros, about 2.628 billion euros short of the initial estimates.
