The General Accounting Office published its provisional divs for state pensions, according which there were 468,422 pensioners in 2014, with the State spending 5,974,673,510 euros on pensions.
According to the official divs, in 2010 there were 413,246 pensioners with the State paying out 6,253,101,199 euros in pensions and in 2011 there were 432,994 pensioners with the State spending 6,572,354,084 euros.
Furthermore, in 2012 there were 441,768 pensioners, with the State spent 6,564,057,274 euros on pensions, while in 2013 the State spent 5,867,633,261 euros for 452,829 pensioners.
