The German Chancellor Angela Merkel has invited French President Francois Holland, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, IMF director Christine Lagarde and the chief of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi to a meeting in Berlin on Monday.

According to a Reuters report, Eurozone officials are said to have informed Greek authorities that a new, third extension of the current program must be approved, in order to pay out the final tranche towards Greece.

Greek government sources revealed that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras spoke with Mrs. Merkel and Mr. Hollande on Thursday evening. According to the sources, the talks were carried out in a positive and constructive atmosphere.
