Hedge fund billionaire George Soros estimated that there was 50-50 chance of Greece departing from the Eurozone, in an interview he gave to Bloomberg.
Mr. Soros expressed his concern that the efforts to save Greece would “go down the drain” and argued that the recent developments suggest that the Greek case is a “lose-lose game and the best that can happen is actually muddling through”. As such, he argued, a compromising solution is necessary.
In his interview he underlined that the Greek problem has been dealt with in the wrong way from the start.
