A powerful explosion occurred on Saturday evening which completely destroyed a house in the area of Vorizia, near Heraklion in Crete.
No injuries were reported, as at the time of the explosion the family to whom the house belongs was away. Police, Fire Brigade and the bomb squad were called out to investigate the explosion.
So far, the cause of the explosion has not been determined.
