The state privatization company TAIPED has announced that M. A. Angeliades Inc and T.N. Aegean Sun Investments Ltd are the highest bidders for the two properties in the Afantou areas in Rhodes.
Specifically, M. A. Angeliades Inc. submitted an offer of 26.9 million euros for the Golf – North Afantou plot of land, while T.N. Aegean Sun Investments Ltd increased its original offer for the “Voice of America – South Afantou” plot to 15.2 million euros.
The paying bidders are to invest about 300 million euros with an emphasis on tourism, which in turn will create a considerable number of new jobs and support the Aegean island’s tourist booming industry.
