The theatrical team of the Athens’ Reception and Solidarity Center’s Social Services (KYADA) will stage a performance of Polish playwright Slawomir Mrozek’s single-act At Sea.

The play is about three shipwrecked castaways who, after having run out of food and water, begin debating power relations in society while trying to div out who will sacrifice himself for the rest.

KYADA’s Guesthouse in downtown Athens will host the play, with Dimitris Gougos, Lampros Moustakis and Michalis Samolis performing under the direction of actor Panagiotis Dorlis. Popular actor and recently-elected municipal councilor Antonis Kafetzopoulos will also perform in the play.

The production of the play is part of the Municipality of Athens Social Service’s to help and support the marginalized homeless people reintegrate into society. Similar initiatives have taken place at the Athens Music Hall and Friendship Clubs in Athens.
