The employee federation of hospital workers (POEDIN) has announced a five-hour walk-out that affects all public hospitals in Attica on Wednesday, which will take place between 10am and 3pm. The federation has also organized a demonstration outside the Ministry of Health.
In its statement the federation explains that the new controversial staff review system aims to privatize and shrink public goods and will result in new wage cuts and dismissals. POEDIN also noted that no hospital employee has participated in the reviews.
