The Minister of Shipping Kostis Mousouroulis will be meeting the Prime Minister at Maximou Hall today to discuss the strategy of privatizing and developing ports, the bill that will be submitted in parliament, maritime tourism, and problems faced in the shipping industry, as well as simplifying and updating the Greek ship register.

The troika’s technical teams will also be arriving in Athens today and will be contacting the Ministry of Shipping, in order to discuss developments in shipping and ports, based upon the Ministry’s commitments on the last memorandum.

The Prime Minister will also meet the Minister of Education Arvanitopoulos at 13:00 and the Minister of Labor G. Vroutsis at 17:30. The purpose of these meetings is to assess each Ministry’s work over the past months, in order to set appropriate goals and to increase the government’s efficiency.
