It appears that after midnight on the 30th of September 2010, shortly after the “Lagarde List” was received by then Minister of Finances G. Papakonstantinou a number key terms were searched for in the files. Among the terms searched are “George Papandreou”, “Papakonstantinou”, “Kozani” and “Oikonomou”.
The police investigation has revealed that 58 files were opened without being saved, at different times, by four different users. According to the parliamentary Committee investigating the case, “the files were not opened at random”, as they appear to be search results. Police technicians confirmed the possibility.
