Ministry of Labor concerned over strike law change

Sources from the Ministry of Labor express their concern over the proposed change to the legislation covering strikes, by the minority government partners PASOK and DIMAR.

The same sources indicate the Minister will proceed with negotiations only with the support of all three parties. The Minister of Labor Giannis Vroutsis’ proposal, which included a return of the ‘lockout’, was met with hostility from PASOK and DIMAR.
