IOVE, the foundation for economic and industrial research, will release a report regarding entrepreneurship in Greece during the period 2011-2012 and the development of entrepreneurship indexes during the crisis.
The main conclusion though is that the climate of uncertainty dominating the real economy over the past three years is inhibiting entrepreneurship. This report will be IOVE’s ninth periodical publication in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor research program.
In the report, the development of basic indexes is presented alongside quantitative and qualitative characteristics of entrepreneurship in Greece, with a specialized analysis on early-level enterprise.
The difficult economic conditions and uncertainty of the future have deterred a significant percentage of entrepreneurs investing in any plans. The report will be presented on Tuesday, by President of the Foundation’s Board of Directors Odysseas Kiriakopoulos and head of entrepreneurship department Stavros Ioannidis.
