The Ministry of Justice has ordered an inquiry by the relevant prosecutor, in order to determine the causes of death of a prisoner at Korydallos.
The Polish prisoner, who had been sentenced over drug charges, was found seriously wounded in his cell on Thursday morning from what appears to be a sharp object. He was rushed to the prison’s medical center, where he passed away.
The investigation is being handled by the Korydallos Police Department, while the medical examiner determines the cause of death.
