The Parliamentary Committee investigating the “Lagarde List” scandal has summoned 28 employees from the former Minister of Finances G. Papakonstantinou’s office. The employees are expected to shed light on details of the original CD’s journey from French authorities, to being transferred to a USB flash drive.

The former director of the ministerial office Mrs. Chrysa Hatzi denied ever being given the CD and pointed the investigation to the other 28 employees who staffed the office. Regarding the delivery of the CD, the director confirmed that she received the CD in an envelope from an employee of the Greek embassy in Paris, gave the courier an informal invoice and then personally delivered the envelope to Mr. Papakonstantinou.

Earlier, the former ambassador in Paris Mr. Il. Kli claimed that his name was implicated in the case due to an oversight. SYRIZA MPs asked him of his relationship to the PM Antonis Samaras, to which he replied he is a seconds, as we as being related by marriage to the Committee Vice President M. Varvitsiotis.

The Committee President Mr. Markogiannakis announced late in the evening that financial prosecutor G. Peponis was expecting the crime lab results regarding the tampered USB flash drive that former SDOE head I. Diotis had, as soon as Friday.
