Time is ticking and the days go by, without anything creative or hopefully on the horizon.

For the time being, there are only big words and endless propaganda about the others, the previous ones, the bad guys, the supposed enemies of the people.

The hope that was meant to come and chance the country’s path has probably given way to uncertainty and insecurity.

The negotiations with the partners are unending and the “red lines” fade away and reappear accordingly.

The money of our partners and creditors is unnecessary one moment and then payable the next.

Half want a break, while the other half want an agreement.

Meanwhile, the darn recession is coming back, the economy is frozen, consumption is clearly retreating, jobs are being lost, investments are abandoned, activities are in decline and only tourism is moving, thanks to its momentum.

The prospects of quickly solving the outstanding issue with our partners and creditors are limited.

The confrontation remains strong, there is no trust and in the best case scenario, the Europeans will offer a breather until June, because quite simply, they do not want to assume responsibility for a possible accident.

It is certain that they will not fully cover Greek needs, so long as previous agreement are being nullified and public finances are in danger of derailment.

They hand out a tiny bit, between 500 million and a billion euros, via the treasure bill mechanism, just to keep Greece from defaulting. Just like with the banks and the ELA.

But even if we make it to June without a collapse, then the future will be even harder.

We will not be receiving any debt settlement or smooth funding so without accepting a mid-term program, which will be supported by specific and substantial measures, which will ensure stability.

They must not delude themselves, those who are on tour in the East, that Greece may be funded from outside of Europe. Others also had a similar dream and we saw what happened to them.

Based on what the government has done so far, the overall sentiment is that the new government is unable to guarantee a safe path.

The people are already sensing a void, feeling the weakness and the lack of preparation. The doubt may not yet be expressed, but it will certainly entrench itself in the hearts of many people. So long as there are no results, it will grow stronger.

Most of the people are amazed by the antics of the Minister of Finances, the authoritarianism of the President of Parliament, as well as the delays of most ministers and their inability to understand the circumstances.

The selection and appointment of people was not the best though. The nepotism of certain appointments is inconsistent with the proclamations, as there are so many relatives in the government and state mechanism. Let us not even get into how the unionists who took over DEI, to finish off what is left of the looted and greatest industrial business in the Balkans.

Truth be told, there is am overabundance of contradictions and the management chaos of the new government is revealed in all of its glory. Last Tuesday was a characteristic day. It is unfortunate that in order to cover it, propaganda is employed, excuses are invented and enemies are being constructed.

That is an old practice, which unfortunately cannot stand in our age anymore.

If the government does not work efficiently and productively, if it does not devote itself to saving the country, then its lack of management will be fully revealed and with, the Lying Sun that accompanies it will collapse.
