The administrative employees of the National Technical University of Athens convened today and decided to continue their strike action which has seen universities shut since September, in spite of the Ministry of Education’s offer to discuss suspensions and dismissals.

The employees announced that they will hold a 24-hour strike for Friday the 29th of November under the banner of their union and a 48-hour strike for Monday the 2nd and Tuesday the 3rd of December, under the banner of their federation.

Meanwhile, the administrative employees at the University of Athens have also begun discussing the future of their strike, with employees split between accepting the Ministry’s offer and continuing strike.
