TUI Travel, the largest travel group in Europe, has reported that summer bookings for Greece by British tourists have risen by 9%, which is 10% more than from Norwegian countries.
TUI CEO Peter Long commented that most tourist book all-inclusive holiday packages, which are attractive due to the euro-pound exchange rate. Thomas Cook also confirms the divs.
According to the group, reservations from Northern Europe for the summer of 2013 have increased by 17% compared to last year. Continental Europe is not much behind either. The most popular destinations are Greece, Spain and Turkey.
