Minister of Finance has decided a further loosening of capital controls in Greece concerning the cash limit on bank account withdrawals as well as the opening of new accounts.

Minister of Finance has decided a further loosening of capital controls in Greece concerning the cash limit on bank account withdrawals as well as the opening of new accounts.

From September 1 2017, up to 1,800 can be withdrawn as cash every month.

The cash can also be withdrawn with one transaction.

The current limit is 840 euros every 14 days or 1,680 euros every 28 days.
