The First Instance Court of Thessaloniki has ruled in favor of the injunction application by the school wardens on the Municipality of Neapoli-Sykies, meaning that the guards will remain in place.
According to the Municipality’s announcement the court decision concludes the first phase of the school wardens’ legal struggle, with the hearing of the full trial expected to take place around the end of spring in 2014.
The mayor of Neapoli-Sykies Simos Danielidis explained that “the struggle will continue until the school wardens are finally vindicated” and urged for the expansion of similar action in primary education.
