The Bank of Greece announced today that in March 2014 the current account deficit was reduced compared the deficit that was documented in March 2013.
Specifically, the Bank reported that in March 2014 the deficit was 44 million euros, compared to 1.24 billion euros in March 2013.
Additionally, the Bank of Greece reported that in March 2014 revenue from the tourist sector increased to 195 million euros, from the 151 million euros it was in March 2013.
