Manitakis pushes forward public sector transfers
Amidst the fragile government truce over ERT, the Minister of Administrative Reform Antonis Manitakis is tackling the issue of suspension in the public sector.
Over the past few days the Government Gazette has published the names of civil servants who are to be transferred as part of the suspension and mobility scheme in the public sector. So far 1,089 civil servants have been transferred, from a total of 1,882 employees in the scheme. The National Printing Office has information on the procedure.
The Ministry of Administrative Reform stated that “in order to avoid any delays in the final stage of appointment, we request your cooperation between ingoing and outgoing institutions, so that all personal records are sent and necessary actions taken so that employees can begin their new jobs immediately”
