Prime minister’s accepting – for the first time – that he made big mistakes, could be an act of bravery.

Unfortunately this happened with a big delay and mainly under the pressure of the unbelievable Varoufakis’ revelations about what happened during the first year of SYRIZA governing.

These revelations create a grotesque picture about mr Tsipras and many of his leading ministers and this is something that the prime minister confirms when in his interview with Guardian he is admitting that: “When I came into this office, I had no experience, or sense, of how big the day-to-day difficulties would be”.

Admitting that Greek people have the right to call his government liars but at least no one can call them corrupted, it’s tragic for the prime minister and shows that even now he has not realised how harmful he was for his country.
