With the judicial files from the Novartis investigation having been sent to parliament, which must decide on whether to launch a preliminary criminal probe on the possible role of politicians or send the case back to the judiciary, To Vima today is publishing the complete Greek judicial documents, along with the American FBI’s report on the case, which led to the launch of the criminal investigation in Greece.
It should be noted that there are six protected witnesses in the case, all Greek former Novartis employees. Three of them have entered a witness protection programme in the US, and have offered evidence to the Security and Exchange Commission and the FBI. The other three are protected witnesses in Greece. Several of the politicians implicated in the case are demanding that their identities be revealed, and some have gone as far as to issue thinly veiled threats against the witnesses.
